Community Priorities
Education Champion
As a teacher, administrator, and mother of 2 children who attend AZ public schools, and as a member of the AEA who supported the Save Our Schools Petition drive/Red for Ed, I have long been fighting for improvements to our educational system. Now, I want to take that fight to the Arizona Legislature so that every teacher in Arizona gets the support they need, and every child, the education they deserve.
Defender of Women’s Rights
Extremists in Arizona want to resurrect a 1901 Arizona anti-abortion law with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the health of the mother. Around the country, restrictive laws like these are resulting in frightening stories of women being refused reproductive care from doctors who fear prosecution. Anti-abortion extremists must realize that their loved ones are not immune from pregnancy complications. My goal in the State Senate will be to make the changes needed so all women in Arizona get the healthcare they need.
Climate Activist
Everyone has a right to clean air, pure water, and affordable health care. Arizona must address problems brought about by climate change, like drought and breathable air quality. As your State Senator, I will work to ensure that all Arizonans have access to quality healthcare, clean water, and fresh air. Together, we can preserve the way of life in Legislative District 22 and all of Arizona.
"I'm looking forward to her leadership and making sure she gets elected"
